Real estate drone photography: house flyovers and listing aerials

Aerial photos and video show the whole lot, the roof, the view and the neighborhood. Here are national services that book drone photographers for listings, and how each works.

Last checked October 2026 · How we chose

Before you book

  • Ask for MLS-ready photo sizes and a short vertical video for social media.
  • Check the delivery time. Listings often need files within a day or two.
  • Near airports, the pilot may need FAA airspace authorization first, which can take time.

Listed in no particular order.

HomeJab

What they do
Real estate media company that books FAA-certified drone photographers for listing photos, aerial video, vacant land and neighborhood shots, alongside regular interior and exterior photography.
Coverage

How booking works
Book a shoot online or by phone; HomeJab assigns a vetted local photographer.
Published pricing?
Yes. Starting prices for its aerial packages are shown on its aerial photography page.

Good fit

  • Packages built for listings (MLS-ready files, aerial video options).
  • Combines drone and ground photos in one booking.

Good fit

  • Built for portfolios: one dashboard for many properties.
  • Imagery hosting included, per its pricing section.

Keep in mind

  • Focused on commercial property; homeowners selling one house may find a residential service a better fit.

Droners.io

What they do
Marketplace where you post a drone job and licensed local pilots bid on it. Real estate is one of its main job categories.
Coverage
Pilots in many US areas; availability depends on who is near you.
How booking works
Post a job, compare bids, portfolios and reviews, chat with pilots, then pay through the platform after you receive your footage.
Published pricing?
Yes, partly. Its client FAQ publishes its marketplace fee and a typical hourly range; each job is priced by pilot bids.

Good fit

  • Several quotes from one post.
  • Payment held until you have reviewed the work.

Keep in mind

  • A client marketplace fee is added, per its FAQ.
  • It checks pilots for drone licenses, but says it does not verify extra licenses some jobs need (such as land surveying).
