Drone mapping and land surveying for construction

Drones capture orthomosaic maps, 3D point clouds, contours and stockpile volumes far faster than walking a site. These providers handle the flying and processing.

Last checked October 2026 · How we chose

Before you book

  • Decide whether you need progress imagery or a signed survey. Only a licensed land surveyor can sign a legal survey in most states.
  • Ask which file formats you'll get (for example CAD surfaces, LandXML, point clouds).
  • For accuracy, ask whether they use ground control points or RTK/PPK positioning.
